Description
This work is made on a found antique watercolor of a military person in full uniform. We constantly refer to the military as our « national heroes ». So I bring foreign heroes (Superman, Batman, etc) and use symbols of my country, Peru, in their uniforms to distinguish them from the original ones. I mix both realities as a way of getting attention of how we educate our children. It’s sure they’ll recognize the foreign heroes, but not the national ones.
