Due to demand, the Printers Proof Edition of this set has the set of 4 colourways of ‘Hey There, Polar Bear’, being Neon Pink, Neon Yellow, Blue and Aqua, has been released. Printed onto the highest quality Somerset Velvet 330 gsm Paper, this Printers Proof set is an Edition of just 5. All 4 prints measure 60x60cm each. The polar bear symbolises endurance, strength, acceptance and surrender’. The white coat of the polar bear conveys the meaning that it belongs to the northern realms of ice and snow where they literally have to surrender to the harsh elements. Bright neon is used on these pieces show the animals presence and energy as ‘strong, powerful’ yet the Polar Bear is also fragile – it’s numbers dwindling due to global warming, which the artists hints at with ‘upward drips’.
