Description
Painting: Oil, Acrylic, Ink, Gesso and Fabric on Canvas and Soft (Yarn, Cotton, Fabric). This work is based on the concept that the body is always changing and it is in constant fluctuation. The moment when a child becomes a woman is one of the most mysterious things for me. Lately I was observing my nice and I was thinking.. she is not longer a child… how did this happened so fast? Is not just a question of age or biology is something much more profound than this, it is almost a holy experience. We may think we have total control of our bodies but is just an illusion, our minds change our blood change our cells are always in constant renovation. Nothing remains the same. With this paintings I want the viewer reflecting on the idea of how the same person can looks totally different depending on the circumstances in their life. One of the most difficult things we have to endure is the fact that nature is always in constant renovation. But by accepting this fact we can be much more happy with our existence.
