Farm Landscape, Autumn is an acrylic on gesso panel painting of a farmland in the fens of East Anglia. Christopher Witchall’s landscape painting captures the light and open spaces of the Cambridgeshire fens where he has lived, explored, painted and photographed for 30 years. HIs unsentimental approach to his subjects combine traditional painting techniques with the realism and cool detachment of photography.
