Marianne Nix is interested in legacy, history and time. The Men’s Pond Highgate has existed on the Heath since the 18th Century and men have exclusively been fortunate enough to swim here since then. Those who are not permitted to dive into and swim in this refreshing pool can merely glimpse longingly from afar at the enjoyment of those gamboling about in the water. Perhaps this will change?
