Description
Tessa Houghton creates semi-abstract landscapes which appear unearthly and exquisite. These outward looking, expansive vistas often feature blurred horizons and pathways and journeys with indistinct destinations. Inspired by nature and its inherent symbolism and contrasts, each image offers a different perspective and possibility; sometimes dramatic, other times hazy and subdued. The viewer is invited to respond and react to them individually. Tessa’s paintings have been exhibited extensively throughout the UK and in various places around the world, such as Barcelona, Singapore, Hong Kong, New York and LA.
