Description
Hermione Carline is interested in the fragility of nature and its cycle of creation and decay. Blue Adagio is about the energy and rhythms of the sea as shapes mingle and blur between abstraction and figuration. The inspiration for this painting came from the pattern formations of the sea and the movements as the water ebbs and flows with its rhythmic quality reminiscent of music.
