Explore the Colours: Red I (Monochrome Series)

Description

« Explore the Colours: Red I » is a large abstract on paper in the style of abstract expressionism. It is part of the monochrome series; the only colour I used is red in different tones and shades. Contrasts come from white and the black charcoal. « Red I » has visible brushstrokes and slightly textures from applying the colours. The paper is a high quality artistic paper (Canson, 290 gsm). The painting has a small (1 – 1,5 cm) white rim around, so you need no mount to frame it. To strengthen the character of the painting and its colours, it is sealed with a matte varnish. Signed and dated on the back. Please note that the photographs in the studio shows « Red I » together with « Red II ».
