Description
A Black Soapstone organic sculpture on Italian Marble; this piece is part of a series of ‘Embrace’ sculptures I carved in soapstone – this particular piece was carved in August 2017 and is figurative in nature. The marble is the perfect base for this sort of soapstone as the combination complements the two different type of stone and this soapstone is a hard stone compared to most steatite stones.
