‘Hibiscus Break’ a work from Susan’s ‘Seaburbia’ series explores the cultural memory and heritage of the quintessential Australian beach house. Often overlooking surf breaks, these beach houses were visited on weekends and holidays. With activities focused on the beach and not the yard native vegetation was often retained, like the native Hibiscus or ‘Cotton Tree’. Hand signed and numbered limited edition Giclee Art Reproduction printed with Cannon inks on Sihl Masterclass cotton rag paper with 4cm white border.
