Description
One of four abstract images created in parallel. Each image with it’s own unique character but all influenced directly by life as it effects me emotionally, cognitively and perhaps spiritually during a time of personal upheaval. The image is built up slowly using an Apple Pencil on an iPad Pro, choosing brushes, colours, opacity and gradually layering elements till the piece feels complete. It’s then transferred to Photoshop where any extra ink line or texture is scanned in and added, colours are checked to make sure they’re within the printable colour range and then it’s off to a local printers where archival quality inks are used to reproduce the image full size on a heavy, lightly textured paper. Paper size 40cm wide by 50cm high with an image size of 32cm wide by 42cm high, leaving a border of 4cm all the way round.
