Description
« James com Rex colhendo Açaí » is part of Ramon Martins last solo show (« Extração ») in Rio de Janeiro. The work shows a delicate yet very abundant nature where a man (James) looks for açaí trees along with his « best friend » Rex. Martins uses an unique technique to extract fragments from walls and uses it as background to a expressive portrait painting of the Amazon river everyday.
