Description
Taking elements from the landscape, Helen has used a cold wax medium with the oil paint which allows her to build up textures and scratch into them to reveal the layers beneath. The additional photographs show close ups of the intricate details. It may be hung alone or with any of the other five panels in this series. It has been painted on a cradled wood panel which helps to prevent the painting surface from warping. It also gives depth to the panel in which D-rings are fitted and so the painting may be hung without a frame. The panel is complete with D-rings and cord.
