Description
River of Gold (medium) forms part of a triptych which was made and shown for the first time at London Art Fair in 2018. The piece is made from nickel and gold plated copper. The idea of the « River of Gold » series is that individual sculptures can inter-lock or overlap with other pieces making a larger wall-based installation. As the work is modular it can be scaled up by continuing the river of gold into another circle/sculpture. The dream is to tile multiple sculptures along a wall, taking off in different directions but having a long river of gold running throughout the installation.
