Description
Sun on the Warren III, from the series Gone fishin’ with Wilf’ In this series, The Artist remembers fishing with her father Wilf’ as a child, the sun on the Warren, the joy felt, and the changes in the coastal landscape – a metaphor for the passage of time, weather for mood, landscape for feeling, whilst also exploring the fine line between pure abstraction and figurative recognition, between chance and control during the painting process. Signed and dated on the side of the canvas the painting is ready to hang. The canvas is deep edged 4cm which shows small signs of the working process to the canvas sides.
