I’m very fortunate, not long ago I sold a painting to a Guy in the UK, he not only went on to buy more of my paintings, but he talks about my work like I never could. He has been kind enough to sent me a collection of the most beautiful art books. He told me every artist ought to have a reference library. He has introduced me to the worlds best artists, names I had never heard of before for which I will always be grateful. He recently sent me another collection of books, looking through a book on Magritte I came across Le viol / The rape, I was stunned it immediately reminded me of a drawing I did 5 years ago. I also immediately wanted to paint it and here is the result.
