Inspired by international globe trotter plant collectors and the palm houses at Kew Gardens in London that continue to inspire and conserve our natural heritage. 100% hand made, monoprint oil on linen canvas on wooden stretcher ready to hang. A monoprint using hand sponging on a paper lithographic plate that utilises the age old printing tradition of oil and water resisting. The work is further enhanced by sanding and applying oil with a brush to create a mysterious light infused work that shimmers.
